How it happens.

It always starts by missing my family and the food in Singapore so much that I will do anything to get a flight home. This usually only happens towards the end of a semester or when something goes really badly during the semester itself. Haha.

I will board the plane happily, jumpy and all excited and start salivating over the food that I'll get to eat once I arrive in Singapore. After the fourth hour of the flight and when my ass starts to hurt, I start to wonder if I'm ever going to arrive. And me being the pissy self starts doubting if going home really is a good thing.

When I see the bright city lights of Singapore from above, I get all hyped up about going home once again! I'll start planning how I'd greet/surprise Alvina when I get back home because she will be the first friend whom I'll have contact with.

But when I walk out of those arrival gates, and the pang of humidity hits me, I'll start whining and regretting my decision of going home and look miserably at those arrival gates, wishing that they'll bring me back to Sydney immediately.

Of course, ultimately, my family and friends and the food makes everything all worth it.

Hellooo Sunshineee!

The sun has already set but I'm only starting to feel it now!

Liberation!! I hate getting cold feet. It makes me forget what I want to say and just stare at the paper blankly. Thankfully, I finished it anyway. John Mayer is currently the love of my life. I spent the whole day yesterday, sitting in front of my computer searching and watching a trillion videos, trying to find one that will be suitable for the postmodernism video analysis today, before deciding that John Mayer's Heartbreak Warfare was suitable.

Excellent choice i think. Haha. Anyway, take a look at the other video I wanted to use!

I love it tooo! Its taken with 3225 photos! Awesome right!! But a similar video has been used in the lecture once as an example, I think And I don't want to come across as being unoriginal. Ohwell, I adore the John Mayer one too anyway! (:

Now that all my exams are over, i have so many things that I want to do! Like hit the markets, and do shopping and more shopping! And since it will be my third time back already, I really don't wish to rack my brains about what souvenirs to get for my friends. So if you guys want anything Australian, please do tell me before the 23rd of November!!

Since I only have four more days left in Sydney, time is really tight on my side and I need to get so many things done! But nevertheless, its the end of the semester, time to let my hair down and party! U'n'I and ComSoc events! We're young, this is the time, to live life!

Home in five days! <3

Procrastination Queen

I have been staring at the same Geopolitics chapter since forever trying to understand it, but failing miserably. So I guess I should just take a break and do something fun for awhile. It won't hurt right? I hope.

On Thursday, Fran and I headed to the city to walk around for a bit, get some fresh air and clear our very jam packed brains (well, my brain). And as we walked into QVB, Fran went, "omgoshhhh!" hahahah. Like, right in the middle of QVB is this MASSIVE christmas tree that goes from the first floor all the way to the top. Its always there around this time of the year and they just probably changed the decorations. I'm very sure Max and I have pictures with the tree last year as well. Hahaha :D

Went to Thai Kee (which is the asian supermarket) to stock up on the instant noodles. Instant noodles in Sydney are not sold in bags of five. You have to buy them INDIVIDUALLY. And thai kee has a whole aisle dedicated to instant noodles. Its my favourite aisle of the whole supermarket FYI.

Look at that! Yeaaa, I know, we're all going into hibernation mode. Hahaha! Thats not ALL for me (I'm not that crazy) btw.

Later that night, we gave out our tokens of appreciation to some people! Fran and I established the Goh-a-Way Academy (haha!) and look at the certs! They're so pretty! Kudos to Francesca mannn! Yea, we went around, giving everyone their certs filming at the same time. The videos will be up on facebook soon! :D

Certificates for our favourite SUV boys!

Okayyy, back to studying. Oh, its free slurpee day today! At any 7/11 store! How nice! :D
